5 Baby Cry Sounds and What They Mean — Hunger, Sleep, Discomfort, Gas or Burp

How do you know whether a small baby is crying because of hunger or because they want to sleep? This video explains that according to an Australian research, there are 5 types of sounds through which we can understand the reason for a baby's crying. The 5 cry sounds covered in the video: "Neh" sound – the baby is hungry and should be fed. "Owh" sound – the baby is sleepy and needs to be put to sleep. "Heh" sound – the baby is in discomfort. The baby may have wet the diaper, or may be feeling hot or cold, so that problem needs to be fixed. Fourth sound – the baby makes this when they have a gas problem. At that time you can do colic massage, or consult a doctor and give gas medicine. "Eh" sound – the baby cries like this when a burp is coming. At that time you should pat the baby and get them to burp. Using these five sounds, you can get an idea of why the baby is crying.
